I love reading and I read for escapism–to live lives that are not my own; to rob banks; catch criminals; fall in love with different people; travel the world, and even inhabit mystical ones. Then I get to talk about it here and connect with a community of fellow book lovers. What is not to love?​ 

I knew I wanted to be a writer from the age of thirteen. Wrote my first romance novel at the age of fourteen, but didn't have the courage to let anyone read it. ​Being a working class baby meant a creative career wasn't really a choice I could make at the time. Now older, not necessarily wiser but a whole lot feistier, I've decided to break convention. And here I am–riding off into the sunset with my first love (writing) like an outlaw in a Western. ​
